Mit der kanadischen Microstockagentur „Crestock“ hat es die nächste Agentur getroffen im immer härter werdenden Überlebenskampf. Die Agentur hat Insolvenz angemeldet.
Der Insolvenzverwalter stellt die Möglichkeit zur Verfügung, eine Auszahlung des Fotografenanteils zu beantragen und räumt gleichzeitig ein, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit der Umsetzung einer Auszahlung mehr als unwahrscheinlich ist. Ein Link zu den Antragsformularen finden Sie hier:

Es wird aber auch über ein weiterbestehen der Agentur gespprochen, wobei aber alle Fotografen auf ihre bisher erzielten Einkünfte verzichten werden müssen.
Wie sich das Ganze weiterentwickelt, werden wir also abwarten müssen.
Ich vermute einmal, dass wir als Bildlieferanten wieder einmal LEER ausgehen werden. Ich hoffe ich werde eines Besseren belehrt werden, welches bei den vorliegenden Finanzdaten aber einem Wunder gleich käme.

Future Potential of Crestock
Design Pics Inc., based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada has assumed the interim management of Crestock during the bankruptcy process, as described below, on behalf of the Trustee.
However, Design Pics Inc. has also made an offer to the Trustee to continue the business of Crestock on an ongoing basis, and to resume making royalty payments to the contributors of Crestock. These payments will apply to any sales made after the bankruptcy of Crestock, where such amounts are greater than the minimum payout values. To be very clear, Design Pics Inc. is assuming no liabilities of Crestock Corporation prior to the date of bankruptcy, nor is Design Pics Inc. able to address or comment on any past amounts owing, sales histories, or any other matters regarding your account at Crestock.
Once the bankruptcy process is completed, you will be advised directly if Design Pics Inc.’s offer has been accepted by the Trustee, allowing Crestock to continue as a going concern, operating as a division of Design Pics Inc.

Due to serious declines in our business and the current pandemic, Crestock Corporation filed a voluntary assignment in Bankruptcy, under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act of Canada, on April 3, 2020.
Please download the relevant Bankruptcy documents and the Proof of Claim form (full URLs displayed below). It is assumed that upon liquidation of the assets, after professional fees are incurred, there will be no funds available to distribute to you.
